They have excellent activities. I have her on the list for their memory care unit when one becomes available. She went there for rehab, and they have an assisted living program right there, so we transferred her from rehab right to assisted living. To me, the place is excellent. They have excellent care there.
My mother is 88 years old and isn't stable enough to walk by herself. My mother has fell down several times when she was living by herself in her home. Living in this assisted facility has helped her over the past 2 years. My family agrees that this facility has given my mother the best assistance. I hope my mother lives many more years and I know this facility will help her accomplish it.

I managed to pay a few visits in durring last month and was always supprised how I the life is at full bloom. People were happy and enjoying all facilities including full time nursing service and postal. Dining rooms, kitchen, laundry are available for all residents. What i found awesome is that pet lovers are allowed to keep their pets and enjoy the touch of life. Lohman Village at The Wartburg Adult Care Community was very nice.
Mom wanted to stay there, but they said she can't because Medicare said she was not progressing and Medicare would not want to work with us anymore. It was a beautiful place because they had a whole new building just for rehab, and it was very nice and everything was brand new. While reading these reports, keep in mind that the quality of a nursing home may get much better or much worse in a short period of time. These changes can occur when a nursing home's administrator or ownership changes, or when a nursing home's finances suddenly change.

She has a studio apartment and she's very happy. They come in constantly to do housekeeping. Basically, they remodeled the place and it's beautiful.
Meadowview assisted living facility is the best place that I personally think is perfect for my mother. So overall I wonderful experience there and would recommend it to everyone else. After a while when my father wasn't able to take care after himself and us with mom working all the time, we have decided that it would be the best idea if we put him in this facility. Suffering from hard epilepsia he had some hard epilepsia attacks which were endangered his life. We searched on the web for closest and best facilities and found one of the finest available in this area. The facility is well organised for routine activities (fitness programme is awesome!).

They have somebody coming in twice a week to do music. It was also the most reasonable place that we checked out. I was able to visit years ago when my mother was alive. She finally had to go to skilled nursing care rather than assisted living at the Wartburg. She was able to remain home with community Medicaid and a healthcare worker from the Wartburg association.
There is also a strong sense of the faith and the church there. For example they house two communities of retired Dominican sisters in their assisted living complex, so that says an awful lot about that. Options 1 and 2 below allow you to save time and money in earning both a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Allen College.

I have to work with numerous nursing homes over the five years and this by far is the worst run facility. The Wartburg is committed to providing excellent service to not only my mother but all of the seniors that go to the facility on a daily basis. The Wartburg staff are a group of compassionate individuals that have helped me with my mother who currently has alzeimers and they have contributed to her well being and safety. At the Wartburg my mother shows signs of hope as she learns new things daily such as names of new friends as well as creative arts. Wartburg is a selective liberal arts college of the Lutheran church and internationally recognized for community engagement.
I like their independent living facility and they are not very pricey. The staff was all very friendly, the amenities were nice, and their common dining room was also nice. This is where both the assisted living residents and the independent living residents go to. I would recommend this facility to others. Meadowview Assisted Living at The Wartburg Adult Care Community was very nice.
The staff in Meadowview assisted facility are very friendly. My mother is very happy to be fortunate to have people to talk to, especially when she get's lonely. Most of the family visit her on the weekends. This facility are there for her every day of the week which is great because everyone in the family are always busy with work.
There are lots of places to walk, and there's a little chapel on the premise. As far as the food, I would give them a rating of 5. They had music going on while we were there and interactive things. I saw an exercise room and a whole list of programs that they have going on daily like movies, beaches, and a lot of activities. The assisted living was all in one building.
